This is a service for gas supply in apartment complexes, where gas customers can use gas according to the balance of the payment app "Shiharai-Hisho".

Automatically respond when the balance is insufficient

Also, if the balance gets insufficient, it will automatically shut off the gas supply. When recharged, the restoration permission will be automatically sent to the monitoring center.

How to implement prepaid service for gas companies

  • 1. Application
    Apply for the service to TOYOKEIKI. Install IoT-R in the apartment complexes where the prepaid service will be used, and complete the TOYOKEIKI’s data center registration process.
  • 2. User registration
    Register the eligible gas users on the prepaid platform.
  • 3. Print QR code to register
    Print a QR code for the gas users to register the prepaid service.

Business flow of gas companies after installation

  • 1. Importing the meter reading data
    The IoT-R attached automatically reads the meter, and the meter reading is imported into the core system on the specified meter reading date.
  • 2. Upload the billing data
    On the monthly closing date, upload the billing data to the prepaid platform. At the same time, issue the bill statement for the month as usual.
  • 3. Import the payment data on withdrawal date
    The payment data are imported into the core system on the withdrawal date.

How to use prepaid service for gas users

Usage flow

  • 1. Registration
    Access the QR code for registration, then install the payment app "Shiharai-Hisho" and create a new account. Link "Shiharai-Hisho" account with the prepaid service to register for the prepaid service.
  • 2. Charge and use gas
    Deposit money into “Shiharai-Hisho”. Users will be able to use gas amount according to the balance. In addition to via bank account, users can also charge the balance at convenience stores.
  • 3. Payment
    On the payment date, payment will be made from Shiharai-Hisho according to the gas bill.
  • 4. Balance notification by email
    When the charged amount is reduced, there will be notification e-mail sent to the user. If auto-charge is set, charging will be done automatically, which is even more convenient.
