TOYOKEIKI Co., Ltd. signed a contract with a major gas company in Bangladesh for 100,000 prepaid gas meters.

TOYOKEIKI Co., Ltd. signed a contract with Karnaphuli Gas Distribution Company Limited (KGDCL), a major city gas company in Bangladesh, on Tuesday 19th September for the delivery of 100,000 pre-paid gas meters. The contract was signed by Kiyotaka Miyahara, the director in charge of international business division, subsequently signed on all 400 pages of the submitted documents.
TOYOKEIKI Co., Ltd. started sales activities in Bangladesh in July 2011. Our proposed prepaid gas meter that can be operated with a contactless IC card (Felica) was highly evaluated, and we have been delivering the meters to KGDCL in Chittagong and TGTDCL in the capital Dhaka.
With this contract, a total of approximately 600,000 prepaid gas meters manufactured by TOYOKEIKI Co., Ltd. will be installed in Bangladesh.
